Hey everyone! Leave your questions for this week's Q&A below!

I have a question/theory about the "brain scraping" concept introduced the week's episode of Resistance. As you noted in your episode review, Phasma states that Finn showed no prior signs of nonconformity in TFA. To me, this would imply that he never had to undergo the brain scraping process outside of his initial programming. In the same way that Artoo, Threepio, and select other droids have developed sentience because their minds were not frequently wiped, do you think it's possible that Finn developed a conscience because his mind was never wiped? This would assume that outside of Finn trooper nonconformity is actually relatively common, and the brain scraping is the only thing keeping them in line. I actually think this fits quite nicely with your stromtrooper revolt theory, since it would be super ironic if the most obedient trooper ultimately caused the others to break their programming and rise up. What do you think?

Yes our thoughts line up. I prefer the idea that anybody can use the Force, but midis will give you an idea of their potential, or innate talent. They are a sign of strength, but not the cause.

What kind of Force and midichlorian connection teory do you like? I personally believe that how much midichlorians one has determines their potential, how strong they could be in the force, how easy it would be for them. And then comes training and belief. Because if it was just OT "you gotta believe to make it work" what stops most people in the galaxy from using the force?.
