Can you talk about Durge from the animated series? What species he is, where he's from?

HI there, I have two questions that I hope you can answer. how was Anakin Skywalker able to become a force ghost at the end of Return of the Jedi? also, Why do there seem to be inconsistencies between how many ships there are in the rebel fleet at Return of the Jedi? In some scenes, like before the fleet hyperspace jumps to Endor, there seem to be about 2 capital ships, 2 frigates, 2 corvettes and 2-3 transports. In other scenes there are significantly more ships than that. What are your thoughts?
