It's been a while. Had to pause and push progress logs back a bit.

December was shaping up to be a bit busy, and my plan was to take it easy development-wise. The plan was to work on some external tools and mechanics as I would be on the go, and it can sometimes be messy to work with stuff that requires the rest of the development build. I was going to expand on this on a progress log mid-December, according to the plan, but plans ended up going completely out of the window though.

December from the get-go ended up being a lot busier than it was supposed to be, and later on in the month, there was an unfortunate early departure. It's not something I would mention here, but the situation has resulted in many sudden responsibilities that partly fall on me, which has naturally led to some time-draining short-term changes and duties while everything is addressed and sorted out.

Due to the situation, January has been a mess. February, though things are now a little more clear, will still be really busy . It doesn't seem like I will have much breathing room until March.

Again, I don't really bring any IRL here. This time though, it's something that hinders development enough for me to at least mention.

Back to talking about the game. For the development posts of Hana Exposure, I generally shared some early sketches of the new CGs, but I'll be changing it for Purple Dream. For PD, I will be sharing in-game captures. Some captures and early looks will be placeholders galore, but I think it could be fun to show some of these rough early sights of development, while they are still in the game. I will be posting the first progress log of the year this weekend.
