Finally back to work after a long week spent with family. Anyways! I'm pretty much done with the lineart, however I'd love to add two more versions. First one with the panties pulled up, and second with the shorts to have our favourite narrative going on. I still have to do the greyscale shading on Kate with the pencils, and then adjust the colors; which is still going to be much faster and more enjoyable than rendering entire illustration inch by inch with the paint brushes like I used to do. Also, her arm was slightly readjusted, because it was a tad too long and a tad too chonky.

There is something a bit "off" about her face at the moment, but I will double check it after the shading is complete. Can't trust it otherwise. One more thing worth noting, is that I'm probably not going to draw Kate from behind for quite a while after this one. I think the halves of my brain swapped places when I was trying to figure out how to draw her hair.

The image had to be flipped and her fringe swapped to the opposite side, because I didn't realise at first that her tattoo supposed to be on the LEFT arm. Otherwise, I'm almost done with the lineart, with few minor details left to tweak or touch up, such as the underwear or genitals. Sadly, you won't see the tattoo until the very end, since I'm using a color blending layer to apply it over the skin with a paint brush without a need of sketching it beneath. I was planning to finalise the lineart and then do the update, but it's already been few days, so I didn't want to keep you guys hanging in the void without letting know what's up.

Oh, right. I also made her chest bigger, too. Suddenly felt like that's important to mention..

I'm working on Kate again with another attempt of stepping out of my comfort zone to draw a full background, instead of slapping a flat box behind the character and calling it a day. Initially, the plan was to place her in a somewhat enclosed window or a ruined wall, but such composition created a convoluted area around her breasts, which are meant to be clearly visible. The new version with red lineart is also going to show more of her tattoo and might make my job a little easier by hiding the other hand, unless I -do- decide to include it somehow.

No promises, but I might toss in a few sketches in between updates, since this project is going to be a bit lengthy. Anyways, I'm going back to take care of Kate and hope you guys have a great weekend!
