The winter is for recovery and rest.

For more yang.
For warmth.
For coziness, comfort and cuddles.
Teas, hot chocolate, and chai lattes!
Take it back a couple of notches.
Observe, be still.
Sleep more, eat more.
Yet remember to keep your body moving.

I keep on taking cold showers, even when the temperature outside hits below zero. It helps me deal with the cold. I don't even have to layer on clothing when going outside. It improves my skin and hair. It improves my willpower.
Build a strong foundation this winter. Take your new years resolutions seriously. And watch yourself bloom when the temperature rises in the upcoming months. Don't be that person that fails to keep their own promises. You can do this, I know you can.
