Welcome back my lovely dancers!
This DDT got slightly derailed lol and I decided to leave it and use it as a teachable moment/lesson that is beneficial to us all (including myself) so watch to the end to have me explain.
As my poor life choices led to bad cramps in my calfskin during this we will revisit this exact drill theme again at a later date (when my body has recovered and adapted to riding again and also when I get into the rhythm of integrating better choices for myself and my body during the process).
So in addition to the shimmy drill here, the lesson is when you can feel something starting to feel off don't push past it blindly. Had I of continued during the choo choo shimmy portion with the cramps that were happening I could have done more damage. I took it easy stretched and stretched well after and since and my body is recovering nicely.
It is so easy to push ourselves beyond in a moment of determination and then pay for it later.
