Here is our first combination breakdown and practice for " Baila Baila Baila"
Written explanation of Breakdown is as follows
*First set of Omis can be done with wide leg stance or with legs together* Practice it both ways and have fun :)
8 counts of omi (interior hip circles) 2 counts per omi (4 full omis)
6 counts omi - 2 counts per omi so 3 full omis
2 counts chest shimmy (try to time chest shimmy with the little keyboard like sound)
6 counts Undulation/body wave down (2 counts per wave, so 3 waves )
2 counts swinging hips to transition to backwards horizontal figure 8
4 counts horizontal figure 8 scooping back starting with left hip
And that completes this first combo
The goals with this section as it is slower is for it to appear, fluid, and buttery smooth. This takes a lot of practice but I know that you are up to it. Have fun with these omis and feel free to change directions and stance as you practice :)
