Welcome to our Breakdown of Section 6!
We are getting so close!!! Are you feeling good about the last 5 sections?
Section 6 is from about 3:09 to 3:28 in the full Choreography video.
Written movement breakdown is as follows:
Starting in show girl pose with right hip accented.
8 counts of sit kicks with right hip
(Optional add on, roll your wrists every 2nd count, so on 2, 4 , 6 and 8)
4 counts of forward horizontal figure 8 starting with right hip. ( 2counts right hip, 2 counts left hip) . Finish back at center facing forward.
4 counts of chest shimmy.
12 counts of hip lifts (I start on my left hip in the original choreo video but I this case and for the next move it does not matter what hip you start with).
4 counts of basic shimmy
Voila!!! Section 6 completed.
Once you are confident with it check out the next video where we put sections 1 through to 6 together. I hope you have been practicing sections 1 to 5 😁😁
