Here is the breakdown of our first section of Choreo (approx 28 seconds of music).
Written breakdown is as follows:
8 counts of overhead hand waves (or 2 sets of 4 counts)
4 counts of snake arms
4 counts of making magic hands
Transition to showgirl posture with right leg lifted and facing forward to begin 12 counts (or 3 sets of 4 counts) of hip lifts with sit kicks. You should get 6 full sit kicks.
Pivot to face forward and 4 counts of shimmy
Pivot to showgirl posture this time with left leg lifted facing forward to begin 12 counts (or 3 sets of 4 counts) of hip lifts worn sit kicks.
Pivot to face forward and 4 counts of omi/interior hip circles.
And that concludes our first section! Woo hoo!
Listen to the music to understand where each move begins and where it ends. The counts don't matter as much as being in time with the music. :) Use your ears and develop your ears for movement placement
