Takoma T-shirt giveaway

Sorry it has taken me about a week longer than anticipated to announce this giveaway. We have rounded the corner on my two year anniversary here and I wanted to start doing things to give back to all of you who help me keep these lessons coming. This month I am going to give away two custom Takoma Records t-shirts that I will have made to your specifications.
I was lucky enough a number of years ago to find an original Takoma records t-shirt, I then hired a custom t-shirt maker to reconstruct the logo so that it replicates the size and look of the original, had some copies of the shirt made so I could preserve it. They stopped working for a long time because of Covid but I was recently able to get back in touch with them and have some more made.
It is important that I am transparent in how this will work. Patreon has very specific rules about what is allowed, and you can read more about the guidelines here. https://blog.patreon.com/patreons-stance-on-raffles-lotteries-and-giveaways
I have decided to use rule number 5 for this contest.
5. Give a benefit to your most loyal patrons
Sometimes creators want to share a certain item of merchandise with their patrons, but they don’t have enough of it to give to everyone. If you want to give merch as a benefit to a limited number of your patrons, it’s okay to base your giveaway on patron loyalty.
For example: You are an aquarium enthusiast and podcaster. You made limited edition, fish-shaped hats to sell as merch at podcast conventions. But you still had some hats left over after convention season ended.
You want to give them away to all your patrons, but you don’t have enough for everyone. So, you only give them to the top 5 patrons who have supported you for the longest.
Why is this benefit acceptable: it’s acceptable because the receiving patrons were determined by a factor besides chance.
Due to the cost of the t-shirts, I have to limit the amount to two this month, so I think the best way to handle the giveaway is to award them to the two active Tier 2 patrons who signed up first for my Patreon. Wouldn't you know it, we have exactly two people here who pledged on the very first day I started this endeavor (August 24th, 2019) and have generously remained active since. Thank you so much to Patrick G. in Texas and Steve H. in Kentucky, you two have been here since day one. I hope you love the shirts!
I haven't decided yet if I'll be able to do some type of giveaway every month, but I know many of you here would like a chance to have one of these shirts, so I would like to do this often and use various methods of selecting winners so many of you have a chance at receiving one.
Thank you again everyone and I'll see you again with a new lesson in a few weeks.
