Thank you

Hello Patrons. I wanted to say thanks to everyone for their support so far. When I started the Patreon account I had it in mind that I would just use it as an experiment for one or two songs. The growing support over the first few months was enough for me to commit to doing this through January 1. At that point I was going to reflect and see if it was something I had the time and energy to continue doing. Currently, I finally have the costs of all of my software covered, this is the money I spend to subscribe to the adobe products for some of my music editing, and all of the software for recording and editing audio and video, and then I have a little beer money left over at the end.

Although new membership has slowed down, new friends continue to join us, and I think as long as we're growing and you are enjoying the content it is well worth it to keep doing this. I've been taking risks with some new repertoire that I'm less familiar with in the last months to challenge myself and hopefully attract new people who are not aware of what I do. BUT... I think most of you are here because of my work on Fahey and Kottke. For this reason, I'm going to have a Fahey related post for January 1st, and possibly another for February. I've also been wrestling with the idea of doing a Hawaiian Slack Key piece, or something from the British Isles (Jansch, Renbourn, etc.)  I'd also love to hear from you, what do you want to see? Feel free to make a comment on this post or message me privately.

Hi Andrew, I'm a new user here (8/6/20).....FYI, while there is a lot of Kottke and Fahey music I love and admire, the tunes you have played and transcribed, that drew me here, were of different guys. Your versions of Big Bill and Blind Blake specifically, and also the clip I saw of you playing David Qualey's arrangement of Jesu. I look for guys who not only have great arrangements and quality TAB, but who are also great players (the two don't always go together). Your playing, to my ears, is excellent....smooth, articulate, and swinging.

Appreciate the suggestions Bryant. I have some new artists to check out for breakfast and lunch today
