The fight scene is masterfully done, with remarkable attention to detail and scientific realism. I also remember getting chills the first time I heard Dresden say, "Without this work, humanity will be left unarmed, ignorant, vulnerable to an enemy who's already fired the first shot." It’s such a powerful moment expanding the scope of the story.

The first season can be tough because it is so very dense and there are basically no throwaway lines of dialogue. It requires rapt attention and often a few views to catch everything. Even being that dense, there are still additional details from the books that I think would have been really helpful to include in the first season to give the viewer a better picture of life on Earth and Mars. You seem like you have the foundation down now though so keep at it and ask questions if you have them.
