Just some housekeeping...
Added 2024-02-21 00:08:43 +0000 UTCHey guys! A few updates here...
- Since we're doing the Live Stream on YouTube this weekend, I'm planning to post the actual Q&A video sometime next week/weekend. I've noted all of your questions from the comments of that post, but if there are any you think of coming up, I'll probably film that video this weekend, so you've still got time. Patreon questions will absolutely take priority, but I may cast the net on YouTube/Instagram as well, to see if there's anything else that people may want covered.
- Probably tomorrow, I'm going to film a quick video for Patreon talking about goals, milestones that I've hit recently, new ones I'm pushing for, and what I've learned from the BoB "blow up" the past few weeks that I want to apply going forward. It has been an amazing, unexpected roller coaster, and because of it, I've figured out quite a bit in a very short time!
- There will also be some (potentially) VERY exciting news in that "goals" video, so stay tuned!

I appreciate your question, and I absolutely understand wanting to ask. I'm going to address it here though, because this is something I don't want to get into in the Q&A video, for a few specific reasons. I don't talk much about that job online (I actually specifically try not to), not because it was a negative experience--it was absolutely a positive experience, and I learned more from JMS than almost any other job I've had. I have so much respect for him, both as a person and as a professional. But I never want this channel to become a "she knows JMS" forum. He's high profile enough that I don't want people spamming my comments trying to get to him, or for my channel to become about anything other than my reactions and movie commentaries. It also feels like a violation to talk publicly about a previous employer, and my professional integrity is very important to me. Thank you so much for understanding 🙂

2024-02-23 03:32:43 +0000 UTCHope I'm not too late to ask a question for the Q&A: if not, here goes: what was it like working for JMS? Babylon 5 was my favorite show, until it was bumped by BSG and then The Expanse. I was around when he was first developing it, interacting with him and other fans on the GEnie online bulletin board service. The location of B5 in the show was named after the "address" of the B5 bulletin board on GEnie. B5 was also a major influencer of me becoming a 3D animator at the time.
