Full-time on BSV for the next 5 Months

Yes! Yes! Yes!

I can't express the utter relief I'm feeling right now.

For the past two month I've been juggling a couple animation commissions (Cherry Insurance and Advance Solutions)...and as of this weekend, they're pretty much done. Cherry, for sure, but still haven't finalized Advance. As fas as I'm concerned it's pretty much done (famous last words, I know).

Unfortunately the commissions were necessary. While you guys have been amazing here on Patreon, in order for me to pay my bills and dedicate consecutive months solely on the project, I needed to accept the jobs. As always, that is in no way insinuating I need more from my patrons, I do not. Don't do it. The goal has always been "more supporters", not "more FROM supporters".

I also notified the company that hired me that I will not be taking any more commissions until Christmas (Cherry Xmas). I've got enough saved up now, combined with Patreon, that I can work on Blood Sun full time until the Christmas season.

Future Update

I have a video update planned for early next month. However it's not going to be nearly as edited/produced as the previous BSV updates. I want to spend that time and effort in the right place: finishing Chapter 001.

The teaser I've been working on won't be released until Chapter 001 is finished. No need for additional hype until we got our feet on the ground.

Chapter 001 Preview?

Chapter 001 is quite a bit longer than I anticipated. It's got more animation in it than I planned. It's more produced, touches on more story elements... but it makes sense to me... it's the first chapter. This is how we're starting it off, so while it won't be some action-packed "BANG!" of a start, it needs to have many of the pieces in place to set up the rest of the story (or at least, large parts of it).

For the sake of patrons and your patience in this process, I'm thinking of releasing the first half of Chapter 001 just to you guys so you can get a sense how it all flows together. I'm sure some folks would prefer to see it in it's entirety, and if so, I'd just suggest not watching it.

I'll likely upload it to vimeo with a password and just trust folks won't share it. I feel we have a small enough community that I can trust you guys <3

Back to Work

And that's it. After months of only being to work on BSV in my downtime (which wasn't much), it's time to crank this mother up to 11.
