Chapter 001
Chapter 001 continues to balloon in size. Like I've mentioned, I have no doubt the following chapters will move much quicker (and will also be shorter), but seeing as this is the beginning of a the whole she-bang, additional scenes and info continues to get slipped in.
Granted I've been hitting this Chapter since mid-Jan, and was hoping for a 2-month turnaround (in a perfect world with dedicated paid assistance), the fact that Chapter 001 is more than twice as long as I'd anticipated, is actually a little promising, in light of the progress ... and that it's been pretty much 94% without assistance.
The addition of Sangrio's history lesson and some other stuff should help get JoJo-fans and newcomers alike up to speed. Though fans will likely get much more of the references made.
The Teaser
There's a teaser I've been working on, at the same time. It'll be roughly a minute long. And while some parts may be over animated (for their intended purpose), I plan to refurbish the animations or at least certain frames in later chapters, so I'll try to get as much use outta the work from the teaser as I can in the actual series. Also, just a great learning experience.
Got a great 3D asset designer helpin out :D You may have caught some of the assets on twitter. But not this one.
That's it for now. I had an animator helping out with the Cherry animation, but their work is done, and I've got to lip sync and do backgrounds for it now. After that, back to business as usual!
