That "Batman toon" ... it's done. I know, I can't believe it either!

A short story that I have not shared on twitter, facebook, or youtube ... but because some of you were around when I started this cartoon so many years ago while I was still living in Minnesota, I felt this was the best place to share.

The animation kept getting pushed back due to so many other things in my life cropping up, including (but not limited to): work, getting a divorce, moving from MN to PA, starting sleepy cabin, more work, my grandmother passing, more work, sleepy cabin ending, moving from PA to CA... and of course, more work.

I'm not gonna lie, finishing this cartoon feels weird. I'm so happy it's done, but I think part of why I kept putting it off was all the weird subconscious feelings and shit that came up every time I just opened the file. I remember showing progress to the guy who would eventually be my ex-wife's lover (or more accurately WAS at the time lol), showing it to his kids, animating it while my dog (which, no, I didn't get) would sleep on my floor by my desk...

I'm not trying to get all mooshie about it ... but ya ... was weird. But I'm gonna assume that it is all for the best, that maybe by finishing this, I can really close (at least partially) a nagging chapter of the past.

With Batman and Prank Doctors completed, I have a couple little projects I'd like to knock out, and yes production on Pawn Pawn has started (albiet pretty slowly), as well as another that I haven't really shared any details about. Partially because who knows if I'll actually have the time to work on it, and I don't wanna keep promising things that take ages for me to finish.

Thanks so much for your patience and support guys, it's been a weird adventure, and it remains pretty bizarre and up in the air. But making stuff is what I love to do, and making stuff with and for you guys is a big part of it (even if I'm not always readily accessible).

But I'm clearing out the path for a more productive and direct line with you guys, and 2017 is already proving to be a more productive year than the past lol
