What do you guys think, slight hatching toning makes it better or pure line-art is fine?
I'm happy to just doodle stuff. The comic actually chains me, and drawing something else makes me feel guilty. Well, yeah... I'm flawed like this. All these unnecessary emotions... ^^;

Yup. But mostly the more toning I add the more information is lost. Each line fattening, each shadow... When I work on the comic pages, there is a moment when they look very nice and sharp. Then I add tones and it gives some mood but at the same time feels like a step down, almost like ruining. Tough decisions...
