They weren't together very long in reality. We just haven't seen Lizzy much since that arc to address it... I wanted to have a couple just not work out since every other couple that started dating had been together for a while. Sure John and Valerie ended and George and Zoey were broken up for a year, but sometimes people just aren't a right fit for each other. Harvey can still show up, but he's just not going to be a romantic fixture for Lizzy.
