In case you guys forgot here's a refresher on Khun. He helped his half sister Maria over his biological sister to become a Princess of Jahad. She committed suicide when she failed. He was hated by his family for choosing Maria over his own blood. His branch of the family was kicked out and Maria abandoned him. So in that regard Khun understands Bam seeking affection from Rachel even though she despises him. He was taught early by his mother to never trust others. Khun was never trusting of anyone other than Bam and perceived Rachel true character early on. Another thing you guys might've missed is that blue stone call Suspendiun that Khun had in the beginning is worth billions and would've made that regular a billionaire if he had succeeded and gotten away from Khun.
