2024-05-17 06:15:42 +0000 UTCNow that the anime reached the caption that confirms this Stussy is a clone, and that "Buckin" Stussy 1.0 was a Rocks Pirate, it can be recalled that Kurozumi Higurashi (the former user of Bon Clay's Devil Fruit from Wano) showed Orochi two young faces by transforming: She turned herself into a younger Gold Lion Shiki and Stussy (we assume). This can be seen in both episode 965 and chapter 965 (this is when the numbers lined up, go figure). This is one of Oda's greatest hints to date. Since Higurashi easily made a deal with Kaido, also a Rocks member, it's a perfect theory that she met him, Shiki, and Stussy while on Rocks D. Xebec's ship after Orochi's grandfather died. As for the connection with Buckingham Stussy, it makes sense why old Whitebeard loved surrounding himself with blonde nurses in leopard print stockings, as Weevil's mother still wears leopard print. Last thing I'd point out is that a recent episode had that mysterious flashback where Vegapunk says "this is a human being" on a MADS ship, and the best interpretation is that he's arguing for treating the first successful clone (Stussy) as an equal. I'm also for the theory that kid Franky built his cyborg body on the abandoned MADS ship.
