For anyone who is confused: 1. About the question Yuki and fake Geto were posing at the begining of the episode: The girl that Tengen was supposed to incarnate into died. Why? Because a cult of humans that whorshipped Tengen wanted him to remain his true self even it meant all of mankind would die because of it, so they hired sorcerers to kill her. Geto who already had a problem with the taste of curses thus began to question the necessity of saving human life. He wondered if they were worth saving. Not only because they're so selfish, but because as long as humans live, they will have negative emotions which will in turn give birth to curse spirits. Then Yuki showed up and said that the simplest way to deal with the problem would be by annihilating all humans so only sorcerers remain. And in a world where humans are being killed for not being sorcerers, they would be forced to adapt and evolve into the next step of humanity, which is by being a sorcerer. So Geto started his little plan and ended up dying at Yuta's hand. This question is once again posed between Yuki and fake Geto at the beginning of this episode. She was thinking that it could be possible for humans to be like Toji in order to have a fighting change. Thereby erasing all curse energy. Meanwhile fake Geto thinks that optimizing curse energy is the next best step. So they disagree. 2. About what fake Geto did in this episode: He's lived for a thousand years so he made multiple pacts with over a thousand sorcerers, which were broken once he became Geto. Fake Geto is extremely curious in the same way an evil scientist would be extremely curious, which is how Choso and Yuji came to be in the first place. It's also why he essentially went around changing the brain of people who had curse energy in order to turn them into sorcerers. To others, he fed curse objects. He just wants to see what happens even if he holds no control over it. He did this to countless people, among which was Megumi's sister. He basically gave powers to people who didn't have powers or simply didn't have access to those powers before. His plan is to then have them fight each other to the death. Since his purpose is for the world to evolve back to the height of sorcery (which is a time when both him and Sukuna were alive at the same time), it will force every sorcerer to grow further. Yuki told him that he's underestimating humans because it's not because he gives them powers that they'll just start killing each other. He told her he already has something in place in that regard. Then he used idle transfiguration (Mahito's technique) to put that plan in play. It's also why curses are basicallye everywhere now. He just released them all at once.
