It drives me insane like I understand where all the other characters are coming from but because of how many times he gets like the bad stuff anytime something good seems to be going on in his life. It’s really just because he’s compromising and accepting the bad stuff.

The Kreese origin story this season was so well done and it shows the viewers how Kreese ended up as this cruel and ruthless/merciless sensei he is today. As you will see in upcoming episodes Kreese went through really awful things that shaped his whole viewpoint on everything. His backstory also made Kreese a far more understandable and complex character as well. If you didn't know already, David, the football player who bullied young Kreese in the first few flashbacks is played by Jesse Kove, the real life son of Martin Kove who plays Kreese in the original Karate Kid films and old Kreese in Cobra Kai. I can't wait for your reaction to the final 5 episodes of season 3.
