i really loved this project so so much! it's one of my favorite pockets justin taps into. i've seen so many negative opinions on this album, but what's new? people hated journals when it dropped now act like it was "always one of his best." same thing happened with positions with Ariana Grande.. just say you hate r&b. i'll see y'all turn heads in 10 years haha. ANYWAYS, loved how much this album felt like him in full form, no gimmicks, no filter, just justin to his core. I'm so proud of him for this record. theres a VERY clear inspo from dijon, and mk.gee which i love.. those artists are paving a new lane and i love to see justin tackle this production style. theres some 80's/90's house and r&b influence as well which i grew up on so im feeling v happy. this albums been on a loop since sunday :) let me know how you guys felt about it in all honesty <3 (all links below) love ya

But let’s acknowledge that I was nearly falling asleep in my bed in a dark room when I put my AirPods in to listen. I wasn’t in the right headspace. The next day, I drove home on a 3 hour road trip and played the album on repeat. I love every single song- my favorites being Daisies, Yukon, Things You Do, Go Baby, Walking Away, and Devotion. Dadz Love and half way through Sweet Spot are skips for me. Sexy Red ruined the song for me. It’s just too vulgar for no reason. And I loved WAP from Cardi B, so I’m not a prude. I just didn’t think her verse fit the song. I love everything else though!

I’m glad you had your moment with rewinding sweet spot before sexyy red came in and ruined the moment lol. I loved daisies and devotion the most. Idk but the ad libs and vibe of devotion reminds me of old D’Angelo songs. Love it! The Biebs is Back!!!
