Today, we’re diving into Towa Bird’s debut album, American Hero! 🎸 This record had its ups and downs for me, but there’s no denying the potential Towa has as an artist. While I feel there’s room for some polishing, there were so many elements I absolutely loved.
The guitar melodies? They had me melting, just gorgeous. I also really appreciated how much fun she brought to this project. Towa manages to be vulnerable while adding a sense of humor that keeps things light and engaging for the listener. And, of course, another LGBT artist to support? That’s always a win in my book! 🌈
Overall, this is a solid debut, and I’m really excited to see where she takes her sound with her sophomore album. What did you think of this one?
