I've been sick
Added 2024-04-09 01:25:25 +0000 UTCLast Wednesday I caught a bad cold and, well, there went most of a week. I had enough energy to feed myself and clean myself, and not much more than that. I'm still shaking off the last of it now. So, the next chapter will not be ready on time for tomorrow.
It's especially unfortunate that this happened right after the batch of poorly effective Adderall, rather than overlapping with it.
Anyway, I'm finally ready to focus on writing again. Which approach would you prefer for catching back up to the number of advance chapters Platinum tier is supposed to have?

Feel better and take your time. Catching up is just not necessary. Your health above all else! As much as I’m excited for the next chapter I’d be even more thrilled knowing you are taking time to heal and get back into it rather than push yourself after just being sick!

2024-04-11 03:33:07 +0000 UTCYou are forgiven but with caveats. Take care of yourself first, and get back to 100% before you worry about us wanting to see Carlos & Amber kick ass and break the world.

2024-04-10 22:02:46 +0000 UTCI’m happy you’re feeling better! Please don’t worry about catching up though. I appreciate the work you’ve been putting into this, but I don’t want you burning out and being unable to finish the story at the level you’ve been writing so far. And if you’re feeling burnt out and need a break, take one! However long it takes is how long it takes and that’s fine. I’m just along for the ride!

2024-04-09 13:39:25 +0000 UTCGlad you're feeling better! Don't feel the need to "catch up"--we enjoy your story, and will gobble up what you put out, when you put it out! We know you're working on it, you've been transparent with us about the delays, and we want the stories to continue!

2024-04-09 05:14:16 +0000 UTCTake whatever time you need to make a great story. There was an eight season long history drama on HBO that really went off the rails after the show’s production outran the researcher’s biography of the ruling families of Westeros. Brilliant generals and shrewd captains forgetting about entire enemy armies and navies. Insanely stupid tactics like attacking death aligned necromancers in the dark and putting noncombatants in an underground crypt, focusing on how one character had “the greatest story”. [shakes his head sadly] Really just take your time to do it right and don’t do what they did.

2024-04-09 04:49:21 +0000 UTCI glad you are able to recover. I also think working the schedule you set for us is better than rushing stuff out. I will admit I like reading the chapters you released for us.

2024-04-09 03:12:00 +0000 UTCBe careful. If you could only handle the once a week schedule you did, with being lucky to produce more, that doesn't mean you'll be able to catch up now. Maybe eventually. Sometimes you just have to accept it.

Beeees!
2024-04-09 01:59:23 +0000 UTCHope you feel better! I know I just wanna read chapters when they're ready, a specific schedule isn't much of a concern for me.

2024-04-09 01:43:31 +0000 UTCWhichever one you choose, as one ADHD person to another: work to avoid the trap of over-correcting the instant you get back on the work-bicycle. None of us want to see you burn yourself out trying to catch back up after life deals you a shit hand.
