2024-06-07 00:57:47 +0000 UTCTotally understand the length-fatigue with Red TV. It’s one of my favorite albums of hers, but I rarely if ever listen front to back because of the length. I think it helps to understand exactly where the original album ends, where the original deluxe ends, and create your own playlist where you can rearrange it a bit and remove any skips. I think that makes it more digestible. Either way though, listening to this album in October when you have a long drive, with the windows down when the leaves are all orange… unmatched

IMO- part 1 of TTPD kind of gives the entire story from start to finish, beginning with the initial fortnight she and Matty were together, and ending with him being The Smallest Man who Ever Lived 🤭🤭🤭 and her meeting Travis. I know Clara Bow is the album closer, but it has nothing to do with the MH storyline that most of the rest of the album does. Then, The Anthology really showcases HOW she worked through it all. Such an artistic masterpiece 🤌🤌

Like you could have a “This is me Crying” tier and you just put songs like Ronan and Forever Winter in that tier 😂 I hope you feel free to listen to whatever songs you want, and not feel like you have to listen to the entire album in full over and over just to rank it!

The first ending with Begin Again (the original album's end) or maybe State of Grace acoustic (original deluxe's end). Then you can treat everything after that as another set of songs. It doesn't need to be the full 2 hours straight through

2024-06-05 19:41:12 +0000 UTCYou mentioned the length of Red and I totally get the fatigue of it. Because of that I would recommend listening to TTPD as 2 different albums when you get to it. TTPD and then the Anthology . I think the sounds and themes between them are different enough to warrant 2 separate listens and it would absolutely be beneficial to get that break in between them. ❤️

2024-06-05 19:25:53 +0000 UTCHonestly, I wouldn't mind if you take time before your ranking video and listen in halves. Because as amazing as Red TV is with the vault songs... it's way too long. Listen to the OG album, end at begin again, it's the original album closer for a reason, that's the complete story (or finish the OG deluxe album). Then spend some time with the vault, honestly maybe even rank those later? There are no rules, but I'd hate for Red not to get proper dues and fall down the ranks because for me even though the vault is amazing it's like an EP of its own and I do think it would play a part in making the overall album lowkey tiresome for relistens.

I think it is great but yes i normally dont replay the whole album just my favourites. There is a red tour but idk if there is any high quality videos left online for it 😢 you should definetly do the speak now tour after the album though. It’s great and the whole concert is on youtube
