Coincidentally I was re-reading parts of his biography this week, and given how he and his assistant used to routinely modify his writing office with convoluted electronics projects, he was clearly a fan of projects done in a spirit of "because we want to and because we want to see if we CAN"! Personally the thought of making anything with gears boggles my mind, but I _loved_ the turtle caps on them - perfect finishing touch! 😁🐢🐢🐢🐢
