I recommend the fantasy series about October Daye by Seanan McGuire. The first book is Rosemary and Rue. It's set in modern-ish San Francisco for the most part, and October is half fairy and half human and at the beginning of the series is enchanted to be a goldfish in the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park. With McGuire's writing there's no slow spots. She's a phenomenal writer. I read a lot of fantasy and she's my favorite author.

Have you read the obsidian trilogy by Mercedes lackey? Magic and demons and elves who are obsessed with drinking tea 😁

My standard book rec: Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. It’s sci-fi rather than fantasy, but the series is REALLY good.

100% can confirm Rivers of London is an excellent series and you should absolutely listen to the audiobooks. The protagonist is a delightfully sarcastic about the idiosyncrasies of modern bureaucracy and how magic and magical beings would interact with mundane life in London. And the narrator absolutely nails the character voice.

Book recommendation, you should try Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch, not full on fantasy but a mix of magic, river gods and police procedure. Novels with related in fill comic novellas. Plus the English language audio versions with Kobna Holbrook smith narrating is excellent

Really nice to hear that Adam is the same in person as he is in his videos. Seeing that interview you did with him was what led me to your channel (and to the discovery of art YouTube in general). It has been so wonderful to have this corner of the internet where people are excited to make beautiful/cool/fun/wacky art and are genuinely kind and supportive to each other. I think a lot of people have been having a rough time lately with **gestures to planet Earth** …everything, and I have found a lot of solace in watching your videos. You are putting good things into the world, and that matters.
