What do put on the leather tome, once it's all finished, in order to seal the color?

Did you glue the end sheets while the book was open, or did you close the book over the end sheet and let it glue in place that way? I'm sorry it didn't come out the way you wanted it to!

I believe that I did the end sheets correctly at the beginning. However, when the last step came to glue the last end sheet to the cover no matter what I did it wrinkled at the bottom as I was closing the book. Did I glue the end sheets too close to the cords? I'm frustrated and disappointed with the end result close to the spine.

Is the inspiration gallery available to see? It is on the course list on the website but I cannot see it in the Patreon

Why do you glue your end sheets on instead of sewing them to the jute cord like the signatures? Just wondering

Tandy Leather has vegetable tanned leather. Finding the 1mm thick that Martina uses may be difficult. Leather is sold by "ounces" - an ounce is 1/64" thick, so 2 ounce leather is 1/32" or 0.8mm thick and 3 ounce leather is 3/64" or 1.2mm thick.
Tandy Leather has stores in several Pennsylvania cities. A web search should find the closest place. They also sell all the tools that you've seen Martina use. When you go in, let them know you're looking for 2-3 ounce vegetable tanned leather. Usually, the people working there can provide a lot of help for whatever you need, and there's usually a LOT of stuff in the stores. It can be a little overwhelming.

I love how beautiful and detailed you make your books! Mine is still halfway through because my orders are taking extralong time to arrive.(No wonder obviously) But I am happy that I found a printing company who can print the content of my next book projects :) And I am planing on going to a bookbinder to try to "borrow" some professional tools, like book press or lying press for backing

I'm really excited to try binding now. I spent a good chunk of last night looking at ordering supplies so I can get started! I never would have dreamed I would want to do this until I watched your videos. And I'm also planning on making my own diorama for my book shelves!
