I'm always absolutely stunned by people's take on Jay. Why are you surprised/disagree with putting your prime merch mover as the champ? Why do you think Hogan and Warrior were on too? Because people wanted to see the poses and the rope shake, not the match. Plus he is capable of excellent matches, look at the stuff with Roman pre Bloodline. Gunther isn't capable of elevating people, he's chops and a powerbomb, that's 80% of it, although I will admit he's got less tedious to watch the past couple of years and has added to his repitiour a bit. People are so quick to complain when it's the same people on top, then when something new is tried they moan about that 😂. Just like Preist Jay earned the right to be on top, did it work for either, no, but you have to try.
