YESSS! Pete and Marc are back to SMASH ALL RECORDS FOR COMING BACK to the London Podcast Festival 2025! No one's done more annual shows at the event, largely because some podcasts got big and now do their own tours, and all the rest have withered on the vine and ended in failure. Not us! We're exactly the same as we've always been.
We're going to cover the UK-only PPV CAPITAL CARNAGE 1998. Did I accidentally say it was from 1999 in the description I sent the venue? YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. So don't rush to conclusions if you don't have all the facts. But yes, that's exactly what I did.
"Do you want to increase the ticket price to £20 this year?" they asked us, on two separate emails. NO! NO WE DON'T! We want it to be as cheap as possible, as the show isn't worth more than the smallest amount that we're allowed to charge for it. It's £16, but there's some odd extra fees that we can't take off, which will annoy you and makes us slightly suspicious about why they need to be there.
It's at 2pm on Sunday 7th September at King's Place in London's Kings Cross (a three-minute walk from the station) and once it's over, we're off for a group trip (if you want to) to see Revolution Pro's Live in London 99 at the venue 229 in Great Portland Street (which is one tube stop or a short, straightforward bus ride away). The RevPro should start at 4.30pm, an hour after we've finished, so we should all make it on time (last year, we went onto a NOAH show in Camden and it was GREAT to see so many of you there and enjoying the wonderful nonsense, until someone landed on their neck and we all felt scared.)
The run-time is listed at 90 minutes, but that's just so we don't go over our previously agreed 60 minute allotment and have the engineer constantly flashing the lights at us to end, even though it was clear we were wrapping up (which happened last year.) We won't bore you for 90 minutes BUT we will do the first-ever live instalment of Count Bartelli's appalling biography as a showstopper.

Please don't anyone Ballad of Wallis Island it, we don't want one person sitting in the audience. We don't want it to look like we've only had one person turn up, like most of the other podcasts that are on, a ha ha ha.
Hope to see you there, champs.
Love Marc & Pete xx
