I'm really sorry about the gap between posts here. I've been traveling a ton, and also just feeling overwhelmed by health stuff and everything else going on in the world.
Without getting too political, yesterday was a dark day for America. Always forced to choose between the lesser of evils, America made it's choice.
I walked around Manhattan yesterday in a sleep-deprived daze, and the mood was somber. It was so quiet. Being stagnant is an awful feeling, but stepping backwards feels so wrong.
My therapist said - the system isn't broken, it's working exactly as it was designed to in the 1700's. America was founded by puritan extremists too conservative for European sensibilities. One step forward, three steps back...
I still need time to process. I'll be back with more to say soon.
