I'm getting my foot surgery (finally!) next Tuesday. My big toe joint has a bone spur/bunion, due to having an uneven spine (scoliosis) and overusing my right foot. It's been causing me pain for years, and I've tried insoles, Cortizone injections, etc. I tried to get them to do the surgery when I had health insurance 2 years ago, but they wanted to try all this other shit first. Anyways, here I am paying out-of-pocket for it now :/
It's pretty chill I think, I mean the recovery is pretty fast and nothing intense. But I hate being put under...the only time I have been under anesthesia was when I got my wisdom teeth taken out surgically. I woke up twice during that procedure lol. They say redheads react differently to anesthetics, often needing more. Let me be the proof!

Hope all goes well with the surgery and a quick recovery! The healthcare system in cahoots with the insurance industry make life complicated and expensive for ordinary citizens. I love these candid pics! My fave is you and Finn… 😍😻💕
