They definitely channeled Moffats "be afraid of everything" for this episode. Moffat was the one who made us scared of little boys wanting their mummy, the sound of a clock ticking, statues, shadows, what's under your bed, breathing, blinking, and dreaming. Another highlight of an episode for Jodie. And you are already picking up on the cameos. Chibnal is very well connected so expect more. I will warn though, be careful of googling them. There's a future episode in Jodie's run which I thought I recognized the actor/actress and when I googled them I spoiled a major reveal. So maybe save the google for the end of the episode. I'll let you know when that episode passes so you can resume googling.
