Excellent first episode. The Pitt was a surprise for me because a lot of medical shows have felt similar the past few years. I usually don't finish a whole season. This felt different compared to others, like JRabbit said. But at the same time, it also felt like old-school TV in a very good way. I can't pinpoint why, maybe it's that 24 format, something about the pacing, or maybe because Noah Wyle (Dr. Robby) is once again a doctor in an ER. Speaking of -- that may be why he seems familiar to you guys. He was one of the main cast of ER (show from the 90s that had George Clooney). A couple of other actor fun facts: the actress playing Dr. Mel King (the young doctor with the glasses and braid) is Bryan Cranston's daughter. Dr. McKay (doctor with red hair and bangs) is Brad Dourif's daughter. Brad Dourif was Grima Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings.

So happy this was finally voted in. It was on my list of shows I was thinking of sponsor so I’m happy to see that it won in the polls. I’m a big medical-show fan too—The Resident, Code Black, ER, and The Night Shift are some of my favorites. The Pitt really feels different though, in the best way. The pacing is tight, the cases keep coming, and by the time the episode ends, you genuinely can’t believe only an hour has passed in Dr. Robby’s shift. You guys mentioned Collins and Robby’s dynamic, and I think this episode does a great job of dropping crumbs that those two don’t get along. That’s why Nurse Dana stood went into the bathroom and told Collins to go easy on him today because of the anniversary and because of the tension. Great reaction and I’m excited for the next one

I'm so happy this got voted into rotation! I'm not the biggest fan of medical drama's but everyone kept talking about the Pitt enough for me to check it out. I practically binge watched the entire show, it had me hooked. The thing about it being fast paced like this is that by the time each episode ends it feels like you've only been watching it for 20-30 minutes and it kinda takes you by surprise. This show was hailed as the most accurate medical drama out there. They actually had all of the main cast go to a medical bootcamp so they could learn accuracy in various techniques which I think is cool.
