A small part of me didn't like this episode because it felt too "fairytale", but a larger part of me loved it exactly because of that. This show has always been about being inspiring and optimistic about the future even if the present isn't so great. The park game was the kind of feel-good we always need. Loved Vince making progress in his development and we got a tiny crack in Virgil too. Even Becky felt a bit more real in this episode than usual. Her scenes with Luke were good. Or maybe it's just any scene when she's not around Tim. I've never looked it up and it's not one of the things the writers/creators ever talked about in post-show interviews, but I wonder how they came up with the Becky and Tim storyline and why anyone thought that would be a good idea. Looking forward to the last batch of episodes this season which I think are some of the best of Friday Night Lights.
