Time to get "Litt up", this was a really great episode. Louis is a great character, very complicated, as are most of the characters on the show, but he's become so much more, than you think he will be back at the beginning of season 1, which is great to watch and Rick Hoffman is doing a fantastic job with this role. Hardman seemed so reasonable all season long, that you really start to feel the unreasonable ones are Harvey and Jessica, I was thinking, people can change, so maybe his wife dying changed him, I mean it seems like you two are the ones causing all the problems and it would be better if you just worked with him and then, nope, he was playing everyone this whole time. I hope RJ is wrong about Donna being gone, although it doesn't seem great after this episode. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.

2025-01-09 11:03:46 +0000 UTCThe way they handled Hardman's character until his "reveal" this episode is one of my favorite arcs in almost any show, and I've basically been waiting for ya'll to see this episode since I sponsored the pilot last year lmao. I reacted exactly like you both the first time I watched, like "this guy seems super reasonable, and Harvey/Jessica are acting super out of pocket..." And then boom, we see his true motivations come to light. Crazy long-game strategy. I also appreciate you championing Louis, he's way more complex now than he appeared in season 1 and you can't help but root for him (I think around this time he started becoming a fan favorite during the original run of the show too). I love how the show doesn't make it easy for you to straightforwardly decide whose "good" and "bad", each character has some complex aspect in their behavior and motivations -- like how we've seen some of the uglier sides of Harvey and Jessica these past few episodes after they were basically heroes in season 1. Can't wait for the rest of the season, this is gonna be fun!
