I agree with you on not being entirely keen on the slow progression of the will they/won't they couples, but I don't think this one is too bad in its playout and development so far and I do like how Janine was talking about her student and Jacob was like. yeah, we're just best friends. Trust me, I'm rewatching Brooklyn 99 for maybe the sixth or seventh time and just got to season 2 and despite this being my sixth or seventh time, it's kind of agonizing to get through Season 2. Comparatively, I feel B99 is a lot worse in the will they-won't they dragout.
