RTR PSA | Last Call for Pulse Test Rankings!!

We're going to make the final announcement on results tomorrow. We got a HUGE influx of votes all day today including a few while getting ready to post this.
To make sure everyone gets a vote in- I'll block off until tomorrow morning and then final results will be announced.

Reminders
We have removed the requirement that you have to vote for every show. To save time- for a show you aren't interested in, you can skip it in the pulse test, and we will automatically count that as a 1.
Number of Shows in Regular Rotation:
Going forward we will limit the total number of shows in regular rotation to 10. Based on this pulse test, we will simply take the top 10 ranked episodes and those will be the ones regularly reacted to until the next pulse test. The only fluctuation on this, will be when a new show is voted in that isn't already in rotation- we will have 1 week with 11. (The second week of each month)
Monthly New Show Polls:
We will keep things the same with an opportunity each month to vote in a new show. New shows are at risk of being voted down in this pulse test if it doesn't secure a top 10 spot and has more than 5 episodes left in a season.
Shows that fall out of rotation:
Shows that don't make the top 10 rankings will be reacted at a much slower rate. Those with 5 episodes or less left in the season will be reacted to until the season is finished and then removed from rotation until voted in again. Those with more than 5 episodes will have one more chance to be voted into rotation in the next month's new show or pulse test poll before being removed completely from rotation.
Managing the Pulse Test:
If a shows average ranking is less than 1.10 three months in a row, we will remove from pulse test. Once a show is removed, it can be added back to pulse test if sponsored or it wins the monthly new show poll.
Note: We remove shows after we complete a season and a new season is not yet available. If we forget to add a season back to this- just let us know!

yeah, it wasn't meant to be like a mandate or anything, just maybe it'd make life easier and I've seen other reactors I follow kinda crumble when they've not given themselves time parameters. I'm not saying that you're going to crumble, I'm just saying that I've seen it cause stress to other people.

The pulse test I feel bad because I only sent one reminder late last night and we had votes coming in then all today. Felt it was only fair to do a cut off tomorrow.. But thanks for weighing in !

2024-11-15 03:36:21 +0000 UTCI've noticed on the polls and stuff that a lot of people are voting and stuff in the last minute, of course I'm hoping for the shows that I love, but...yeah. I honestly thought South Park was gonna win a movie slot and I go to bed and it's winning at 12 or something, then wake up and it's coming fourth with ones that had 9 before I went to bed at 16. Crazy. I am hoping that Abbott and TBBT get more reactions to them, but I am prepared to submit them to any poll I need to to make sure they are seen :) Note: Maybe you could put like a cutoff deadline next month, like say, please have them in on December 14th at 12PM Eastern time or whatever time works.
