I know that Oxygen (the episode before) get's hit or miss reviews, but I personally like it because it serves as the lead into this one with the Doctor becoming blind. I said this is where season 10 really picks up for a few reasons: 1) You have a blind Doctor, he's at a disadvantage and the stakes are high. 2) We've got Missy back, which is completely unexpected, and we don't really know how she's going to fit in to the overall story. 3) Bill and Nardole spend most of this episode separated from the Doctor allowing them time to come through as companions (even if they were just simulations in the end). And 4) we have this new alien which we didn't really learn anything about in this episode, and I find that intriguing. Looking forward to the next one.
