Reid had an interesting way of viewing trauma in this episode, "He's dead, your here, you won", that's not really how trauma works. I liked that Reid checked in on her, I thought that was great, but then he said that and I don't really think that was that helpful. It's almost like he's saying your alive, he's not, so get over it. Also, why is he the only one checking in on her from the team, their all profilers, also I thought you had to have mandatory therapy to get back in the field, what happened to that. Is even Criminal Minds, which is a show about the mind, allergic to having the main characters see therapists, like so many other shows, including Cobra Kai. I don't think Elle was being annoying in this episode, I think she was a traumatized person dealing with trauma badly, as many people do. I think the team messed up, somehow with all these profilers on the team, no one noticed how bad Elle was doing and decided it was a good idea to put a person dealing with a trauma back into another traumatic situation. I know they couldn't use JJ because she isn't trained for that kind of job, I don't think it would be allowed, they might not be able to use the main detective because she might be recognized because she did lots of interviews, maybe, but are they really saying there were no other female officers they could use, that seems unlikely. However, murder is murder, she committed a crime, I've seen a few reactions where people wanted her to kill him and didn't think she really did anything that bad. I've always disagreed with that, no matter how terrible he was, you can't just kill him. Also, what's to say she won't do that again, there's a fine line between her being an agent and becoming Dexter basically. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one. Also, I know she's an agent, so it feels like she should be able to handle trauma better, like she should react differently but she's still a person, agent or not and trauma's still trauma. Also hearing what she what went through, not just the being shot, but also feeling him reach inside of her to get blood to write his message, that was disturbing.
