This was a slow episode, but it also, somehow felt a little rushed with it under developing some of the story. But despite that I did like the episode, I thought it had some good scary elements, I really liked the introduction to Bill and I felt bad for the girl with the star in her eye. I do wish they had shown a little more with her, like maybe them having a discussion at the club rather than just looking at each other. But I think the show was trying to go for a fantasy/romance like element with the looks and the spinning camera. But I wish that they had still shown a little more, because your not the first reactors I've seen that thought Heather was evil. It seemed like Bill and Heather had a deep and quick connection but they didn't even get a chance, before Heather was dead, which is very sad. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.

I agree with JRabbit that Bill's curiosity and quirkiness are refreshing and really are why I love her as a companion. Also, Pearl Mackie, who plays Bill, is such a sweetheart in real life. She and her wife actually just got married in May this year. There were several nods to classic who in this episode, the main 2 I'll mention are the photo (which you picked up on but couldn't place) which is the Doctor's granddaughter Susan. She was the very first companion back in 1963, along with her human school teachers (who taught at the same school that Clara would later teach at). Also on the Doctor's desk were all of his former sonic screwdrivers from the classic era, one of which he handed to Nardole to use when he was isolating the Daleks. I agree this episode was a little slower. I think the reason for that is mostly to do with Moffat using it as a jumping on point for new viewers. He added a lot of exposition that the rest of us probably didn't need. Now that we got that out of the way, it's time to get on with the rest of series 10. Looking forward to the next one.

I'm so happy we are here. I don't know how the rest of the viewers felt bit this is one of my favorite series. And welcome Bill, she is the tops of my favorite companions and I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Someone else who is better at will fill you in on the picture. Till next time.
