And so concludes the Martha Jone trilogy in Torchwood. She's now back off to Doctor Who to call the Doctor and Donna down to Earth to fight the Sontarans, which incidentally sets off another 3 part storyline for her. Actually, it's a bit unfair to call it the Martha Jones trilogy, when it's really Owen's trilogy. We started with him dying, then his resurrection, and now him coming to terms with his new life after death. It's funny you mention the score, it's always this episode that the score really stands out to me too. I'd say for the first time in this show that the score is on par with Doctor Who's score (it's a different composer). Personally, I'm a fan of this episode, mostly because it does feel like a departure from the typical torchwood stories, and it's a chance for Owens character to get a bit of a reset. Owen might be dead, but season 2 still has a bit of life left in it, we've got some comedy, some horror, and quite a bit of drama still to come. Looking forward to the next one.
