I love this episode so much. They did a great job foreshadowing what was coming at the beginning with Clara bragging about taking risks and how brave she was while the Doctor mentioned that it was becoming a problem. She's spent this season putting her full faith in the doctor to save her and everyone else, and she was the reason ashildr was saved and became who she is now. It was such a perfect full circle moment and so emotional at the same time. The doctor saying that the doctor is gone and they're left with him now is terrifying when you consider everything he's been able to accomplish while trying to be kind all these years. Like we saw with the family of blood when he became a human, he is really scary when he's mad. Can't wait for the next one. Not to spoil anything but it has my favorite track in the entire doctor who series and one I regularly listen to.

I was waiting for this episode, it starts off somewhat simple, were just going to save a friend. Then it ends in such an emotional moment with the death of Clara. I really did think that whole goodbye scene with Clara and the Doctor was great, with her goodbyes and ordering him not to seek revenge, also she faced the raven, she didn't run, that silent scream still gets to me though. It's terrible that she had to die in pain or die at all honestly.
Clara was taking a lot more risks, doing things like the Doctor would, who it would normally work out for, but sadly and a little unfairly as she stated, it doesn't always work out when a companion takes that kind of risk, I also feel like she believed the Doctor would always be able to save her, no matter what.
Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't waiting for you to get to this one. Such an emotional episode and out of nowhere. Especially after that shitshow we got the week before (oops, that was supposed to be erased from our memory). Russel T Davies got us comfortable with the format of companions exiting the show neatly at the end of the series/season, often with a surprise return later. Moffat likes to flip that on its head and have the companions leave partway through the series/season to really throw you for a loop.
Clara and Amy had pretty much the same amount of time with the Doctor, but Clara has seen much more. She has witnessed a regeneration, she's the only companion in NuWho to have been to Gallifrey (twice; in the 50th anniversary, then in Listen when she ended up scaring the Doctor as a child), and she's the only modern companion to have faced off against all 3 of Doctor Who's "big bads" (Daleks, Cybermen, and the Master). I think this is why Clara becomes somewhat reckless. We've spoken it about it a few times, that she's more of an equal to the Doctor, but sadly that way of thinking is what has gotten her killed.
As you move into this next episode, I'm just going to say one thing... The Score! 🎼🎵🎶

The first time I saw this I was very much like y'all, I couldn't believe what had just happened. Now, everytime I see this episode I just cry.
I like the constant threat that something bad can happen the companions and this episode definitely shows how that is a possibility.
Having Clara killed because she emulates The Doctor and that she feels as invincible as he is really shows how her character is. She always strives to be like him and in the end she is only human. It is a fitting goodbye to one of my all time favorites, Clara.
