Yeah I agree with y'all, I think we're in a stretch of "hit or miss" episodes. I will say that on a rewatch I'm catching some funny interactions I missed the first time around, but I remember having the same “meh” response when these episodes originally aired... Some of the jokes/storylines just not hitting the way New Girl typically does. I'm guessing Zooey's maternity leave kinda threw them for a loop with what to do this season. Don't worry, they definitely get their mojo back :) and for me at least, basically every New Girl episode has some reliable comedic gems (even if the episode as a whole is iffy)
