This was a great episode, with some really great acting. I thought Osgood was great and I really liked the scenes she had with the Doctor, Jenna Coleman was great playing 2 completely different roles in this episode and Peter Capaldi...that speech was fantastic.
There were also some more things in this episode, that after watching feels like, well that should have been obvious, why's it called an Osgood box, because there's 2 of them, did we really think Kate Lethbridge-Stewart got taken out by a lone Zygon, of course we shouldn't have, she's the daughter of the Brigadier after all. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.

One of my absolute favorite episodes of Doctor Who and just TV shows in general. They thought through every detail so well and gave all the actors a chance to shine, especially Jenna. I really love the doctor and Osgood together, she's a little less of a fan girl here than the last few times we've seen her and I think that makes her a really great character. And of course, that speech. Like I mentioned before, Capaldi is the best at doctor who monologues and he absolutely nailed this one. I can't even begin to count how many times I've watched it because of how perfectly done it is. It's understandably included in just about every doctor who speech compilation video on YouTube as one of, if not the best, speech in the series. I'm a little partial to another that's yet to come but definitely place this in second. It strikes straight to the heart of the real cost of wars and if only we could make everyone in the world watch and understand it maybe there'd be less of it in the world.

Billie Piper played Rose, Bad Wolf, and the Moment. Noel Clarke played Mickey, Auton Mickey, and Ricky. Frema Agyeman played Adiola, Martha, and Sontaran Clone. Catherine Tate played Donna, Library Node, and the Doctor Donna. Karen Gillen played Mira the Soothsayer, Amy, and Ganger Amy. Arthur Darvill played Rory, and Auton Duplicate Rory the Roman. Samuel Anderson played Danny Pink, Orson Pink, and Cyberman Danny. And Clara played Oswin the Dalek, Victorian Clara, Clara, and now Bonnie.

I just love this 2 parter so much. It's really got a very cinematic feel to it, it's well-written, fantastically acted, and well produced. Jenna Coleman as Bonnie was 100% believable and not once did I ever question if she was supposed to be Bonnie or Clara. I always enjoy the return of Kate Stewart, although she was showing a little bit of her darker side here, firing first and asking questions later. Given she has a scientific background rather than a military background like her father she's certainly found a fondness for guns recently. Maybe this can be a turning point for her after that speech (not that she'll remember it).
Talking of which... man, can we put that in the books as one of the best Doctor speeches ever? Actually I don't think we need to, I just googled "best doctor who speeches" and the first three results I clicked into rank this speech number 1 (and one of those also included speeches from classic who too!).
Random fact but this story puts Jenna Coleman in the lead for most played characters by a companion. Up until now all main companions have played either 2 or 3 roles. This story put Jenna at her 4th role (not including the echoes or holographic interfaces). I'll put the roles in a reply if anyone is interested so as not to let this comment go on any longer haha.
