This is a great halfway point for the show. I absolutely love the character of Lucifer. I admit that I was caught off guard by his personality, but when you take into account that he’s Charlie’s father and who Charlie is as a person, it makes too much sense. The bubbly personality, the flare for theatrics, the genuine good heart. It all tracks. I think this is a great introduction to the character and it’s such a unique take on Lucifer in general. With most versions of the character, he’s normally just an evil monster that can end the world. It’s so refreshing to see him as just a lovable embarrassing dad and all around nice guy. Jeremy Jordan did a fantastic job as the character. I mostly know him as Winn the nerdy tech guy in Supergirl so I was absolutely blown away by his performance. Fantastic reaction as always and looking forward to the next one.
