(Cancelled) Keyboard Karma

I've pretty much spent every night this week that I've been able to, including when I was struggling with the COVID vaccine, and I can't get the narrative to work. I have some really good prose, and I think I have some good characters...but the story is not working. You could say I have writers block, I guess. I don't normally experience that. But in this case there's just nothing there for me and I can't get these elements to come together.
I have about 5000 words written and even more than that deleted. But I just hate it so much I don't want to post it. I think like the first 50% could make a fun narrative, but theres no conclusion and I don't think I can bring it to a conclusion.
Obviously, I'm very frustrated. I've let you down. I promised this story and people voted on it and I can't deliver it. And I've also delayed the Stentonville chapter because I've tried to give myself every shot for some inspiration, which frustrates me even more.
So I'm going to spend all tomorrow pivoting to Stentonville. I want to get that next chapter done ASAP because I've been itching to write it anyway. Then I'll need to pivot to the posts for this week, meaning I don't know when I'll have time to make up the short story. I also wanted to do a bonus Stentonville interlude, and I still need to make up half of the Get Adopted chapter from 2 weeks ago. Needless to say, this writers block on Keyboard Karma was extremely painful to my work schedule, but it is what it is. I need to do a job recognizing earlier when a story just isn't there, and I need to think more about that when I'm making polls.
