Still working on Stentonville

Hi everyone!

I have another chapter in the works for Stentonville Prison. It should be fun. I'm really trying to balance the narrative right now between developing the setting and developing the characters. Right now, I feel like I've been working very hard on getting characters developed, but I'm worried the world I'm building is still quite a mystery.

I'm definitely not expecting myself to score that balance correctly the right time around, but I want to put more effort into setting. I'm trying to do that naturally, though, and this has been a bit of a struggle (if rewarding, for sure).

This chapter is going to be from the perspective of a guard at the diaper prison (which we've only seen one chapter of so far). I think playing things slow in this narrative is going to have a huge payoff. That doesn't mean the early adventures can't be fun!

Anyway, what's been hard is that I underestimated how much I had to think through Billie's day. I knew a lot about her character and what paths she'll go down (I think, she might surprise me), but I realized the chapter left soooo much to be desired if I just dove into her character study.

So yeah, sorry about the delays once again, as I try to have novel chapters out on Tuesday and Thursday. But once again, I think delays will be worth it in the long run.

Also, June-July is just the party month. That's also been slowing me down XD.
