The firm gets the volume and might triage the different cases with some workers getting more folsom representation than others. The firm also gives the union leaders benefits like donations, trips, dinners, drinks.

Idk if it’s common practice in labor law, but in other areas the busy firms farm stuff out pretty regularly. Kinda sucks to not work for the client directly, but could be a way to break in

No constitutional issues, and reduced political opposition, because it’s criminal punishment.
